1.How many KM do you ride a week?
I always reply with a smile because the usual response is...."you must be nuts!".
I ride between 350 - 450 Km per week...or at least I did before I started back to my job as an educator. I plan to keep the mileage up with workouts on my indoor training bike..a road bike...and century rides on the weekend on my Stumpjumper.
2. Are you doing the race or the expedition?
I am doing the expedition as I plan on taking pictures and enjoying the experience....how many times do you get to ride from Cairo to Cape Town in your life?
3. What is your intention?
My intention is to arrive in Cape Town on May the 10th, 2008 safely with all the riders of the adventure.

Very proud to read your comments about the beauty that you see and, more improtantly enjoy. It is easy to see that our parents imparted many wonderful seeds that have been very carefully watered by you and those who love you. So here is a little water. John Hiatt sings "Feels Like Rain" It would be great to have on your iPod for those wonderful days when you need to hear "Just because we're into stormy weather....".
The training is solitude the ride and the people you meet are the conection and the determination is the evidence.
May yur ride into the wind feed you.
Love
